This website, www.futureartistsstudios.com (the “Site”), is operated by Future Artists Studios FZ LLC (“we”, “us”, “our”), a company incorporated in the Creative Zone, Abu Dhabi 1591, with its registered office at PO Box 77872, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

We are the data controller in respect of the personal data described in this policy.

2. Scope of this policy

The Site is presently a single holding page containing information about our business and an enquiry form. This policy explains what personal data we collect through the Site, why we collect it, how we use it, and the rights available to you under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (“UK GDPR”) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

3. The personal data we collect

Information you provide to us. When you complete the enquiry form on the Site, we collect the information you choose to submit. This will typically include your name, your email address, and any other details you include in your message, such as your telephone number, your organisation, or the nature of your enquiry.

Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, our website platform automatically records certain technical information, including your IP address, browser type and version, device type, operating system, referring website, the pages you view, and the date and time of your visit. Some of this information is collected through cookies and similar technologies, as described in section 6 below.

We do not knowingly collect special category data through the Site, and we ask that you do not include sensitive personal information in your enquiry.

We will not use your details to send you marketing communications unless you have separately asked us to do so. Where you have consented to receive marketing, you may withdraw that consent at any time by contacting us at the address given in section 1.

5. Who we share your personal data with

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes. We share it only with the following categories of recipient:

  • Squarespace, our website platform provider, which hosts the Site and processes enquiry form submissions on our behalf. Squarespace Ireland Limited acts as our processor in respect of UK and EEA visitors. Further information is available in the Squarespace Privacy Policy.
  • [Our email and productivity provider, e.g. Microsoft (Microsoft 365)], which hosts the mailbox to which enquiries are delivered.
  • [Our CRM or business systems provider, if applicable], where an enquiry is recorded for follow-up.
  • Professional advisers, insurers, and regulators, where we are required or permitted to disclose information to them.
  • Law enforcement or other public authorities, where disclosure is required by law or necessary to protect our rights, property, or safety, or those of others.

All of our processors are engaged under written contracts that require them to process personal data only on our instructions and to apply appropriate security measures.

6. Cookies and similar technologies

The Site runs on the Squarespace platform, which places a small number of cookies on your device.

Strictly necessary cookies. These are required for the Site to function and are set without your consent, as permitted by the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 (“PECR”).

Analytics and performance cookies. These are set by Squarespace Analytics and help us understand how visitors find and use the Site. They are placed only where you have given your consent.

7. International transfers

Squarespace and [our email provider] may process personal data outside the United Kingdom, including in the United States. Where personal data is transferred outside the UK, we ensure that an appropriate safeguard recognised under Article 46 of the UK GDPR is in place, which will ordinarily be the UK International Data Transfer Addendum to the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses, or the UK Extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.

8. How long we keep your personal data

We retain enquiry correspondence for [24 months] from the date of our last contact with you, after which it is deleted, unless a longer period is required to meet a legal, accounting, or regulatory obligation, or to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

Where an enquiry leads to a contract, the relevant records are retained for [six years] from the end of the contract, in line with the limitation periods that apply in England and Wales.

Website log and analytics data is retained for the period set by our platform provider, as described in the Squarespace Privacy Policy.

9. Security

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss, alteration, and disclosure. These include encryption of data in transit, access controls and multi-factor authentication on the accounts used to access enquiry data, and restriction of access to those members of staff who need it in order to perform their duties.

No transmission of information over the internet is entirely secure, and while we take all reasonable steps to protect your data, we cannot guarantee the security of information transmitted to the Site.

10. Your rights

Under the UK GDPR you have the right to:

  • be informed about how we use your personal data, which this policy is intended to provide;
  • request access to the personal data we hold about you;
  • request rectification of personal data that is inaccurate or incomplete;
  • request erasure of your personal data in certain circumstances;
  • request restriction of our processing of your personal data in certain circumstances;
  • object to processing carried out on the basis of our legitimate interests, and to object at any time to processing for direct marketing purposes;
  • request portability of personal data you have provided to us, where processing is based on consent or contract and carried out by automated means; and
  • withdraw your consent at any time, where our processing is based on consent. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before consent was withdrawn.

11. Children

The Site is intended for a business audience and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under the age of 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so that we may delete it.

The Site may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those websites, and we encourage you to read their privacy policies before providing them with any personal data.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes to the Site, to our business, or to legal requirements. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised. Where changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to bring them to your attention.
